Daniel E. Innis is an American academic and businessman. He is a professor of marketing in Hospitality Management. Previously, he served as the Dean of the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=UNH Speakers Bureau: Daniel Innis )〕 from 2007 to 2013, overseeing major developments at the school. He co-founded the (Ale House Inn ) and (The Hotel Portsmouth ) with his husband Douglas Palardy, in historic downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Both properties were sold to Lark Hotels in 2013 and 2015, respectively. Prior to his tenure at University of New Hampshire Innis served as the dean of the College of Business, Public Policy and Health at the University of Maine in Orono, ME. He has also served Ohio University as the Associate Dean of the College of Business, Chair of the Marketing Department, and as a professor in the Marketing Department. Innis was a Republican candidate in the 2014 election for the United States House of Representatives in New Hampshire for the 1st congressional district.
